These terms apply when you use funeralordersofservices.com or buy from us. Please read them with our refunds and cancellation policy and privacy policy.
2. What we sell
You design a funeral order of service or other memorial stationery online, preview it free with a watermark, then pay once to receive a print-ready PDF. We do not print or post anything: you print the PDF at home or at a print shop.
The funeral order of service costs £9.99. Other items in our catalogue start from £2.99. The price is shown before you pay.
3. Prices and payment
We are not VAT registered, so no VAT is charged. The price shown is the total you pay. There are no hidden fees and no subscription. Payment is taken by Stripe at checkout.
4. How the contract is formed
Before you pay, you tick a box asking for immediate access (see section 6). The contract is formed when Stripe confirms your payment.
5. Delivery of your PDF
After payment we create your PDF from the design you approved and email it to the address you gave, usually within a few minutes. You can also download it on the confirmation page. The download link in your email works for 12 months. Please check your preview carefully before you pay: we print exactly what you entered, including spelling, names and dates.
6. Your right to cancel
As a consumer you normally have 14 days to cancel. For digital content, that right ends once access starts, but only if you asked for immediate access and acknowledged that you would lose the right. We ask you to do this with a tick box before checkout. Our refunds and cancellation policy explains this and your rights if the PDF is faulty.
7. Your content
You are responsible for the words and photos you add. Please only upload photos you took or have permission to use, and nothing unlawful. You keep any rights you have in your content and give us permission to use it only to create and deliver your PDF.
8. Licence to use your PDF
Our designs and templates belong to us. When you buy, you may print and share your PDF as many times as you like for the funeral, memorial or celebration of life, including at a print shop. Please do not resell our designs or use them for other customers.
9. The AI writing helper
The suggestion buttons use AI to offer wording. Suggestions can be wrong or unsuitable, so please read them before you use them. You decide what goes in your order of service.
10. Our responsibility to you
We are responsible for loss you suffer that is a foreseeable result of us breaking these terms or failing to use reasonable care and skill. We are not responsible for loss that was not foreseeable, or for mistakes in content you entered and approved in your preview. We supply our products for domestic and private use only.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation, or for anything else that cannot be limited by law. Nothing affects your statutory rights as a consumer.
11. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms, for example when the law or our service changes. The terms in force when you bought apply to that purchase.
12. Complaints and disputes
If something goes wrong, email [email protected]. We aim to reply within 1 working day, because we know funeral arrangements often have little time to spare. These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales and the courts of England and Wales have jurisdiction. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
